  1. 1. Implement heavy fine (upto Rs 1000) for littering in a public place. Make people understand that when you use a public place, you have a responsibility towards it. If you fail to fulfil it, you will have to pay the price.

    2. Instead of focusing on cleaning india, focus on not littering at all.

    3. Provide dustbins in public places

    4. Create a website for accountability. Mention the places where there are dustbins, names of defaulters and the fine collected.

  2. Two of the most important factors/ steps for clean India are – Segregation of waste at the source level and recycling . Segregation of waste is yet to be fully initiated in the Capital , what to say about smaller towns and cities.
For recycling , we need to exchange ideas. While making of compost from vegetable peels and other organic waste is possible in the rural areas, in cities like Delhi, we should think of its useful disposal.

  3. Every individual should clean their surrounding daily as they clean their body daily, by which we can make a clean India. Its we, who can change the nation…

  4. Dustbins are there along road sides. It is the people now who have to take step. they should throw the dust or dirt into the bins

  5. There should exist a mutual understanding between the Municipal corporation and the citizens, the citizens should involve themselves in the administration. Moreover schools and colleges should also initiate cleanliness drives in the adjoining areas

  6. I personally consider the campaign in itself to be a novel endeavor. The idea and intent behind the program was heartwarming, but like everything else in our country, the implementation has been shoddy. This was something that the new government gave us hope for, to make the implementation of their programs effective. But that hasn’t happened yet.

Therefore, if there was something I’d like to be changed in the Swachch Bharat Campaign, it would be the mitigation of the incessant posturing and enhancement of the actual cleanliness drives that happen beyond the cameras. Bringing people who actually want the program to succeed for what it is into the fold will do wonders for the program. It’s no use having a Hema Malini wield a foot long broom while the photographers have a field day capturing her in her attempt to clean India. She might be a good actor, but good actors are not who we need for this program of ours.

  7. Exactly dustbin should be installed and especially in those areas where street food vendors are in large number.. licenses of those shops must be terminated violating the norms

  8. We should start from our doorstep.

  10. Its not about dustbins on road, its about Are we keeping our house clean? Are we using separate bins for Wet and Dry waste? Is your neighbours are educated enough to follow this? is your housing complex following this? is your area or colony following this? IF yes then only we can go ahead and take it to city level and then country level. Here what we need to do is that prepare ourselves / societies (housing complexes) properly and then ask help from Government to help us in taking it to next level and be the change OR bring the change. WE need to EDUCATE people actually and lead by example. Things will change for sure.

  11. Remembering the Brave Freedom Fighters Shaheed Bhagat Ji Singh, Shri Subhash Chandra Ji Bose and other i insist you all my brothers and sisters to take a pledge to keep our arera, locality, colony, city, state, country clean.
    Regards

  14. Municipal Corporations and RWA should take strict actions to get the colony common garbage area to get cleaned on alternate days so that the garbage doesn’t accumulate for a long time.

  15. Everyone should take this pledge as well as promote the mission that “One Human One Tree”, if every single person will establish tree this year as well as every year, i believe in we can plants something around 1.35 billions trees every year.

You know that a single tree give profit of 100 millions rupee’s to nation in its life period.

  16. Few steps to be done:-
1.Dustbin against every house sponsored by local corporates.
    2. Vacuum trucks in every city.

    4. Air filters in every city for air cleaning.
